World Water Day 2017 - Lake Prespa Ecosystem Revival Panel Discussion
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project has helped reverse pollution in one of the oldest freshwater ecosystems on Earth. As a result, water quality has improved and indigenous fish species have recovered. The 80% of residents, who depend on apple farming, are now benefiting from new agricultural methods that have reduced costs and increased yields.
This event will take place on Wednesday 22 March 2017, between 9:45 to 12:00 at the International Environment House in Geneva. It is open to the public but registration is required at www.genevaenvironmentnetwork.org/?q=en/lake-prespa-conservation-event-registration
